Where is Estate Les Chenes located?

Estate Les Chenes is in Minden, Louisiana, in Northwest Louisiana, just off Interstate 20 at Exit 49 — an easy drive from Shreveport, Bossier City, Haughton, and Ruston.

How many guests can Estate Les Chenes hold?

Up to 250 guests across the grounds, with 150 white Chiavari chairs included as standard. La Maison Rose, the smaller event space on the property, holds up to 50 guests.

What year was the Main House built?

The Main House dates back to 1816.

Does Estate Les Chenes offer overnight accommodations?

Yes. The Main House sleeps 10 to 12 guests across five bedrooms. Overnight stays are included in the Full Weekend and Grande Estate Packages, or available as an add-on for other packages when the calendar allows.

PRICING & BOOKING

How much does it cost to book Estate Les Chenes for a wedding?

Wedding packages range from $3,000 to $10,500, depending on the day of the week and how much is included — from the Weekday Package up to the all-inclusive Grande Estate Package. Full pricing details are on our Packages & Pricing page.

What's the deposit to hold a wedding date?

A signed contract and a 25% deposit hold your date. The remaining balance can be split into up to five payments, due in full 60 days before the wedding.

Is there a lower-cost option for a smaller wedding budget?

Yes. The Weekday Package (Monday through Thursday, up to 60 guests) is $3,000, the lowest-priced way to have a full wedding experience at the estate.

What is Estate Les Chenes' cancellation policy?

Deposits and payments already made are non-refundable. If your date needs to change, we allow a free date change, provided the new date is available.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What's included in a wedding package?

Every package includes tables, chairs, linens, the Bridal and Groom's Suites, and an on-site venue manager. The Full Weekend and Grande Estate Packages also include an overnight stay in the Main House.

Can I bring my own vendors?

Yes. Estate Les Chenes keeps an open vendor policy — bring your own caterer, florist, and photographer. The one exception is bar service, which goes exclusively through Stirling Spirits.

Is there a getting-ready space for the wedding party?

Yes. The Bridal Suite and Groom's Suite are included in every package, each with full-length mirrors and comfortable seating.

Are pets allowed at Estate Les Chenes?

Yes, during the ceremony and photos, as long as a dedicated caretaker is responsible for the pet and takes them home afterward. Pets aren't allowed to stay crated inside during the reception.

POLICIES & LOGISTICS

What happens if it rains on the wedding day?

A few options: a tent rental for the reception, moving the ceremony to La Maison Rose for smaller guest counts, or an off-site location. Estate Les Chenes is also in the process of planning a permanent covered structure over the back patio which will be available for 2027 events. 

Is alcohol allowed at Estate Les Chenes?

Yes, through Stirling Spirits, the venue's exclusive bar service provider. A licensed sheriff is required whenever alcohol is served, at a cost of $120.

Is Estate Les Chenes wheelchair accessible?

The Main House and grounds are accessible. La Maison Rose does not currently have a wheelchair ramp — let us know ahead of time if this is a concern for any of your guests
